What does training look like?

KinderGym sessions run for 1 hour and are designed to be playful, safe, and engaging for young children with a supporting adult.

A typical session includes:

  • Welcome and group time

    • Hello song, simple actions and name games.

    • Quick reminder of safety rules in child-friendly language.

  • Warm-up and movement games

    • Animal walks, stretching, chasing and stop–go games.

    • Focus on running, jumping, balancing, rolling, and other fundamental movement skills.

  • Equipment circuits and guided play

    • Low beams, lines and shapes on the floor for balance.

    • Soft blocks, wedges, tunnels and steps for climbing and crawling.

    • KinderGym-height bars, rings or ropes for hanging and swinging.

    • Mats and inclines for rolling and practising safe landings.

    • Children move through circuits at their own pace with parent and coach support.

  • Cool down and goodbye

    • Calm game or stretch.

    • Goodbye song and a simple positive comment for each child.

The emphasis is on exploration, confidence and fun, rather than “perfect” skills or performance.
